Could it be? Its possible...

I think Im close to human again - Woot! (but say it quietly)  My head still aches but its doable in that I can deal with it and not take meds.  Sort of like my TMJ, slight constant ache of pain, not Advil or Tylenol worthy but nothing that will cause me to want to curl up in fetal and cry either.  Im now wondering if my head is hurting more now because of the meds or because of other fellow sufferers sharing stories.  Either way I am doing a journal to share with the Dr so we can maybe modify dosage if needed.  

The Dr did strongly suggest back massages.  What a hard prescription to take!  *sigh, I just dont know if I can handle that (hehe).  Actually I cant wait til Monday as thats when we have a gal that comes to work and for a nominal fee she will do wonders on my back.

Well the parents are close to making another decision to move back to the house.  Things are not looking good (apparently) for the refinance as a reverse mortgage.  Guess there isnt as much equity as originally thought.  So as they shouldnt move back in how some things currently stand (carpet and the walls could be painted and the lino can be done over) now would be the perfect time to do that.  Especially as no one is habitating the domicile atm.  So I asked Mom to get some quotes, Lisa (sister) is going to talk with a contractor friend of theirs to see if/how they might be able to help.  Wouldnt it be wonderful if we could have a "handy-person" close to help out with round the house things.

Im laying off WAR for a bit while my head is getting back to normal.  Funny how stitching isnt making things worse - yet.  Course now that I just jinxed that...

Zokutou Word Meter that I use for my BAP side bar appears to have a bit of an issue in the AP department.  The site they've used is a bit behind on their payments - or so the site is telling me.  I do hope they are able to get things back in the black.  I love that I can enter how many Ive completed with how much there is total and have a wonderful, colorful bar to help show that :o)

I worked on Dragon Tulip a bit today, just around 100 added.  Still just greens.  Now my little piece of seaweed has a tail...

Stitchy stuff

I was a stitching fiend this weekend.  Lots done on 3 large project.  Im counting Dragon Tulip as a large projects solely on the insane number of color changes!

Dragon Tulip - I know, Ive posted it already this weekend.  Deal :oP

LOTR Map - This was my All Day Sat stitchy project and I believe I got close to 600 x's entered.  Trying to cut through the confetti to get to the large patches on this one.

LOTR - This was my Sun project.  I spent most of the time getting rid of the parked threads.  Ive decided that parking threads just aint my thing.  Just to hard to remember what color was what and where it needed to go.  May work better in a project that doesnt have so many similar colored threads.  Even with just taking care of parked threads I was able to get around 500 x's in today.

Too bad I didnt keep count of Dragon Tulip count - or that could be a good thing if Im not able to keep this amount of stitching up and get depressed and not stitch.  See Downwards spirals are not good!

I found an AWESOME cheat, so to speak, on PC Stitch.  Highlighting of same color x's!  I created both LOTR baps using PC Stitch and Sat found me looking at my computer, highlighting the color being worked on and marking finished x's on my copy.  I finally figured out where to change the color of the grid lines on the screen today (mind blower that was - too much pebkac!) 

I ended the day spending some computer playtime with D.  Started up my WarHammer account again, created a new character as they just added new ones and I had to try them out.

The weekend is Mine!!

ok, well mostly mine.  The weekly shopping done and everything put away, dishes have been washed and put away by minions and Im waiting for water to boil for dinner.  Clothes will just wait until tomorrow, but I wont have to go anywhere.  That just leaves more time for stitching!

I worked on Dragon Tulip yesterday - more greens added but it looks less like a lost bit of seaweed.

Right now Im working on LOTR Map, no pic cause I aint done with it yet today :oP.

Hun, we got powederd on again...

It snowed.  Again.  Woke up, turned the kettle on, TV on, changed channel to find out what was going on out in the wild world this morning to hear from the weather man that it snowed.  *sigh*

Snowed a good part of the morning and then - Blue sky and sunshine!  Bye, bye snow!  Now its raining :P

P is a tad better today.  Nothing like the 103 temps.  He has been messing around 101 - 102 for most of the day and finally down to high 99's as of this afternoon.  Poor nose is redder than a fire engine but his head is no longer trying to burst open with every cough.  Making the executive decision and keeping him home another day.

Stitchy Stuff - I know!  you are thinking NO WAY!  But - I did :o)  Decided to bring out Dragon Tulip and added more green.  I am SO glad Im doing this on aida and I gridded.  The color changes are so slight and who ever charted this for the magazine was kind enough to use very similar symbols (grrr).  Still looks like a lost piece of seaweed.

Since I stayed home (and had prior knowledge - I'z a smart mom!), I took over D's office chair as a mobile desk :p  Again, I was able to get tons more done at home than at work.

Shoes for the whole family, shirts for me, Pants for P and of course restocking the kitchen for next weeks lunches.

Stitching

I found the March issue of Just Cross stitch for the Ink Circles pattern!  AND I was able to meet Tracy at A&T this weekend!  Great time to stop by for look-sees eh?

This weekend I worked on Dragon Tulip and Wolves.

Tulip looks like a lost piece of seaweed at the moment.  Just all greens.

Wolves got around 800 x's this weekend.  Pretty good for a BAP start.

Off to fold more clothes so I can find the bed to sleep!
