I cannot believe it is already October! Yes Im ready for cooler weather. Still gets too muggy when it rains, so the season hasn’t felt like its changed yet.
Another First to go along with the date – I made my first no-kneed bread today. Well the dough was started yesterday as it takes 12-18 hrs to just think. So this evening I heated up the oven and my cast iron dutch oven and baked bread.
The end result looked and smelled wonderful, I just don’t think it cooked correctly. It didn’t sound like a drum as its supposed to. My thinking is that Its one of two things; too much flour or too much water.
So back to baking again tomorrow!
