D's wonderful cooking!! (yes Im bragging and NO you cant have him!) He has 2 new cookbooks and has been using us as testers (no bad dishes - yet). He has been in the kitchen for about an hr making lunch and Im about to bowl (pun!) him over and grab what he is cooking!
Bad news for the bread maker - as good as it smells (YUMMM) its getting the boot and going back to the store. Keeps burning the crust :( Cant have great bread with burnt crusts. So as I have the awesome (30yold+) kitchen-aid with the needed attachments for making dough, we are going to try making bread with the oven and pans. We are still on the lookout for a good machine though.
I do feel punished a bit cause Im having to listen to Red Hot Chili Peppers (YUCK) while he cooks. Small price to pay I suppose.
Update - lunch was FABULOUS
