Really!

I really need to get back in the habit of posting here.   So much has been going on.

Minion 2 had a birthday, I finally had a finish (those Ive posted about) and we started a garden!

Real live growing things!  For now they are in pots, barrels and one raised bed until we can figure out what it is we really want to do with our yard.

Two types of tomatoes (pineapple (heirloom type) and cherry), basil (for pesto – mmm), green bell pepper, rainbow chard and corn.  We are starting off really small – one plant of each the above.

We are making sure everything is organic, plants, dirt, everything.

Time will tell if we are successful.

We may expand into animals.  Chickens (we are allowed 4 hens per household in the city limits), ducks (eggs are a bit richer than chicken and there arent limits yet on them), bunnies (for useful bunny berries) and worms (for good dirt and they will eat the bunny berries!)

So much to learn!

On the stitching front, still nothing has happened.  Feels like Ive lost the mojo for poking a tiny sharp needle into tiny holes for now.  I have been busy adding hexes for one blanket and creating granny squares to be ready for another afghan when I have enough to piece together.

Until next time!
