Flowers

Yes I have an update for IHSW which I will post tomorrow with pics (I actually stitched on something!) but today I have to share this wonderful project

Is that not the cutest bear?  All hex (African Flower hex).  The pattern is ~ 200 pages explaining each step.

I don’t have the pattern yet but will so I can do it sometime in the future.  If I have grand-daughters, they will so be getting one of these!

    I love this! I am using Heidi's instructions to make a cotton african flower blanket but love her bear. It looks difficult so good for you for attempting it.

    I just had my first hermit weekend and I did stitch so had to put my crochet hook aside for the weekend. :-)

    Good lord I feel like I have a challenge now :)

    I wasnt planning on even starting this for a number of years but every time someone comments I have to go look at the bear and she (since there are flowers I may be judging too much making her a she) just stares at me with those eyes!

    I have to finish a couple blankets but maybe may start one of my own sometime this year :)
