Another hd, new start and another new project starting to scream loudly from the corner I placed it in.
Patchwork afghan – Another block has been completed! (2012 WIP!)
Simple but a happy dance just the same. I do announce each block finish to P and he cheers along with me.
New start – D got me a gift card to one of the local yarn shops and we had to go and visit. Of course with such a card burning a hole in my pocket I couldn’t leave with out a little something now could I?
6 wonderful skeins of Cascade 220 Superwash; Duck Green, Shire and Celery. Hopefully its enough to make a wonderful lapghan for yours truly. I have a good start, on the 9th row now. It’s a ripple and Im following the wonderful instructions by Lucy of Attic24.
The new project will be another afghan, Summer Mist Throw. I love how elegant this afghan looks. I made one change and I will be using a dark purple in place of the lavender blue suggested.
Ive also updated my 2012 WIPocalypse, adding items from my new crochet addiction (
) and new charts that are waiting in the wings.
I love the colours of Yarn that you bought. I need to get some of that gorgeous yarn.
