Ready for the cold

My Arrow Shawl is now finished!

Arrow Shawl 9-2-11 Finish

88 inches long, 4 skeins Lion Brand Homespun Corinthian

Took about 3 hrs to hook the last skein (see, another instance trapped in a moving vehicle and nothing else to do Smile ).  Im looking forward to using this at work.  Its so nice and warm!

I have a chance to possibly use it tomorrow, just seeing how cold it really gets at night where we are at.  So far its still pretty dang warm.

D and I spent the time listening to Boneshaker by Cherie Priest.  Its Steampunk, which D likes and YA, so I know the kids will like it too.  So far its been pretty interesting.

After finishing the shawl, I broke out the yarn for the afghan Im making for P.  I decided to work it a bit different so ripping was done so the block I had started could be done yet again (4th times the charm, right?)  Lots of mixed blocks of Red Heart Camo & Black in single crochet.

Thanks for stopping by!
