And the wait begins

I received the distructions for the operation and I cant have any advil, tylenol or asprin a week before and the date is next week.  Needless to say, today was hard to get through.  Hope it doesnt get tougher.  I see lots of naps during the next 7 days.

Light on stitching again today – just had to finish a book.  Darn think kept me up til midnight.  I forced myself to stop at the end of a chapter.

Siren Song by Cat Adams

Goodreads summary

Nothing if not resilient, Celia Graves is slowly adjusting to being a half-human, half-vampire Abomination. But her troubles are far from over. Her best friend’s murder is still unsolved, the cops are convinced she should be in jail, and her old lover, the magician Bruno DeLuca, has resurfaced in her life, saying he has something important to tell her.

My notes – you need to read the first book, Blood Song ,to get an understanding of whats going on.  Nice to see Celia getting comfortable with the changes going on in her life.

The next installment (third in the series) Demon Song isnt out until March but Im on the wait list at the library, short list at that.
