What is it about cats? The water dish is just fine, plenty of clean water but apparently it is not in the happy spot on the floor.
Yup, I walked into the kitchen to find water EVERYWHERE and the water dish (heavy ceramic job) moved quite a ways from where it had been.
*sigh
So here I am, cleaning up water, yelling at the cat - who is wondering what the big deal is...
I used to have the same issue with my cat. What I did to solve it was put water and food in two seperate dessert size dishes and then put those two dishes inside of a square porcelein casserole dish.

ReplyDeleteI had to laugh! One of my crazy cats dumps the bowl if the water has been sitting for more than a couple of hours. Another of ours dips his paw in the water and licks it off of his toes rather than drinking from the bowl. The third (and final) one will drink from the toilet almost exclusively. I thought I was the only one whose cat(s) had issues. Good to know I'm not alone. LOL
