We now have appliances. Lovely, shiny, new, sparkly appliances. And one very happy lady at the appliance store. We will really begin to move in this next week, after the appliances are placed and some coverings added to the windows. A bit each day and the big hauls over the weekend. Color me sooooo excited! Back into our own house, no sharing walls with neighbors, being able to open our windows without cigarette smoke wafting in, same neighbor's dogs barking or whining All Day Long OR people running up and down the stairs outside. Not to mention being able to run the washer, dryer or dishwasher any time I want.
The next item of business will be for me to make an appointment for Homer to get shaved before he moves back in ;op...
Cigarette smoke coming in through open windows (and through the floorboards) was the worst part about living in an apartment.
