Its always kind of weird to talk about a specific subject at stitch group and find a article about just that same thing the very next day!

Dont know about you but I just cant wrap my brain (or stomach) around this,
chocolate covered bacon
or Voodoo donuts’ bacon maple bars (but their other donuts are fab!)
Gak! I don't find any of those appetizing. I know lots of people do.
ReplyDeleteThe chocolate covered bacon (and the bacon maple bars) have the wrong proportions of bacon. If you tried Vosage's Mos's Bacon Bar you might like the idea of smoky chocolate taste with only a tiny bit of actual bacon. And the Maple Bacon needs to be smaller pieces, too. Personally I like my bacon with pancakes and maple syrup.
ReplyDeleteJust give me the chocolate and hold the bacon please! Is Voodoo Donuts in Portland? I think I saw something about them on No Reservations with Anthony Bordain. I'd definitely stop there for some deliciousness, without the bacon!!! LOL
