Homer is now waiting across the rainbow bridge for us to join him. He hadn’t been well for the past few weeks. I took him to the vet Monday as he had stopped eating or drinking altogether and found his kidneys were pretty much kaput. So we brought him back home so we could have a last evening to say good-by.
We brought him home and will be planting something nice to remember him by close to where he is buried.
The house is such a different place without the furry tag-a-long around.
