My stuff dont smell right

Or at least thats what Homer is thinking.  He has spent the last 10 min rubbing (and tasting) all over my backpack, and checking the inside.  Very comical early in the morning.  I shall have cat hair all over it by the time he is done.

I have to confess, I have a problem.  Books.  I love them.  I also love stitching and unfortunately I havent been able to find a way to do both at the same time – the ultimate in multi tasking if you ask me.  For people who are waiting for all the books Ive borrowed from the library, forgive me.  I picked up 4 on Sat and then 5 more were waiting for me yesterday.  I havent really had that much time to read as Tanglewood has been screaming through my hands.  It will have to be placed aside as I have the new books from Kim Harrison, “White Witch, Black Curse” and Jim Butcher “Turn Coat”.  Thankfully my local library carries these (silly if they didnt as popular as these series are).  I am saddened that due to the economy I am unable to increase the size of my personal library with these specific books but hardbound are just too expensive.

No stitchy updates today.  I was just too sore to get projects and camera out.  Good workouts, just sapping my strength at the moment (which I know will pass)

  2. LOL We took Sheba (the dog) to the park one day and she must have smelled very different because when we got home Taco (the cat) freaked out! Taco's tail puffed as big as a raccoons!

  3. I also LOVE books and to read. So I have an ipod and get audiobooks from the library and my area has an interloan system so they borrow from all the libraries ina couple of counties and they deliver them to my library once a week. This is a great way to listen to them without spending money and can cross stitch at the same time.
