Happy Home SAL day

I worked on Happy Home sampler most of the day. I did have to take a few brakes when frogs came to visit and just found another froggy to take care of that signaled the need for bed, I will evict that error tomorrow before I work on Noah & Crew. HHS is still fun for me to do, most of my mistakes are showing themselves before I have to remove rows and rows (and rows) of stitches. As it is I just need to remove the F and everything to the left of F (one extra row between G & F when there should be just 1! grrr)

Im also thinking of entering this project into the Washington County fair this year. That will be a first for me. I read on another blog, I forgot which, where someone was asking for stitchers to submit their works to summer fairs so others can see what type of projects we are working on now, bring new people to the craft. So - looking at what the process is for our county, its simple. Fill out a form, make sure your projects are there on the days specified and pick them up about a week later. No fees involved and I may even get a ribbon :)

  2. I hope you enjoy the fair. Seeing that we live in the middle of the Mohave desert, summer is not a good time for a fair. The county fair is in April, but every year we are somewhere else. Also living in the West, the counties are BIG and the fair is over an hour and a half away! Someday.
