Stash and the wonderful smell of new carpet

My lovely LNS was open today and I just had to drop in :op. No, I really did. I needed a 2nd opinion on the colors P and I chose for his stocking. Neither one of us wanted to stay with the original orange and brown. He chose to do the dragon in greens.

I also took the time to search through the available fabric at the shop to see if there was anything that screamed stocking, there wasn't, but I was able to find something that might work, but I would need to order it, and did find several small swatches good/perfect for small projects.



Onto the house! I drove by on my way to the LNS and saw the carpet van in the drive way. My first thought was "Yuck, working on New Years", quickly followed by "WOOT!, carpet will soon be done!" I stopped by on my way home as the van was gone and found a worker bee still at work. The carpet looks great but unfortunately it makes the walls look even more blue than before. Oh well. I couldn't take pictures cause the battery in the camera is dead and I was lazy and forgot to charge it. Just as well cause the carpet wasn't completed yet. Better to take the pictures when that is done.
