Homer closer to coming home

Well, Homer did get to come home for a brief time on Saturday. He had a shot (distemper) and I thought I could do the job of shaving him. I bought new clippers and spent about 20 min in a closed bathroom trying to shave him. All I got was a mound of fur and he doesn't look like I did anything. He did enjoy it, moving so I could "brush" him. Other than that he hid between the toilet and sink. Dad was nice enough to take him back to their house for the week. I get to make an appointment for Homer at a groomer this week so he can get shaved and I can bring him home.
